Hi,
As described in the “Control who can see a page or post” support page, the visibility options, under the Status setting, for a WordPress.com page are Draft, Pending, Private, Scheduled, Published, and Password protected. The support page provides instructions on how to find these options and choose between them.
However, after viewing your site, I wonder if your objective is to remove the “Blog” item from the menu. I’ve added a modlook tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention to this topic/issue. Staff will respond here.

Hello @amari06cfd38ebe!
As @musicdoc1mentioned, you can set your page to private by following this guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#control-how-a-page-or-post-is-viewed
Also, I just wanted to mention that since you’re on a paid plan, you have the option to contact us directly from your dashboard. Feel free to follow this guide for more details:

If you’d prefer, you can also email us at help@wordpress.com, and we’d be happy to assist you privately from there.

Hi. Thanks for responding. The reason I thought they might be referring to removal of the “Blog” item from the header menu on the site 3isfor.com is that clicking on the item produces a “404 not found” error. So it may be that the blog page either 1. doesn’t exist or 2. is already hidden, by having no link to it in the menu, or by any of several visibility choices, and the unstated objective of the OP is to remove or delete the Blog item from the header menu.

Thanks for sharing that @musicdoc1, I see what you mean. However, from their initial request, they were trying to hide a page.
That said, everything will really depend on what they’d like to accomplish. If they want to remove the menu item, they can do so by following this guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/menus/delete-a-menu/#tab-customizerHowever, we’ll still need to wait until they share a bit more information so we can fully understand what they’re trying to achieve.

Thanks @elcristofue,
I don’t want to hijack this topic, but it occurred to me that the OP is referring to an assigned blog page, AND the Setting the homepage support page indicates that when choosing a blog page from the drop down menu at Settings → Reading, “[o]nly published pages (not drafts) will show in these dropdown lists.”
So if one chooses a static page as the front page, doesn’t that eliminate most of the status options for the page assigned as the blog page? Mustn’t it be published? And if so, then would one need CSS to hide it?

Sorry, I’ve been away from the forums for a couple of years and have gotten very rusty. I’d forgotten that any page, not just the one selected at Settings → Reading, may be chosen to serve as one’s blog page, and it may display a certain number of the latest posts with, for example, the help of a Blog Posts Block, a Latest Posts Block, or Display Posts Shortcode. In such cases, all of the status options will remain available.
