hide and restrict editing in backend

Is there a way to restrict the editing of the site for some admins to make it easier and simpler for them to edit only certain areas . ie hide certain plugins altogether. and only authorize editing of certain text or images . as my client finds the wp backend too complicated and needs to be simpler for her

  • Hi there,

Admins have full access to all aspects of a site. If you don’t want someone to have that level of access, you should not make them an admin. That’s why the WordPress software has the other user roles of Editor, Author and Contributor, to control who can do what.

For more advice on this, please ask in https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – the account you’re using to post here is less than a day old and doesn’t own any sites hosted on WordPress.com, so I’m assuming you’re working with the open source version of WordPress at another host.
