Hide Topics

    Hello everybody. This is my first question and please don´t beat me for my bad English oder the stupid questions I ask. ;)

    I am new @wordpress and so I´ve two questions.

    1) Is the a possibility for me to export and import my old http://www.blogigo.de topics to the new blog @wordpress? It worked fine for my old livejournal, so maybe somebody knows a way.
    2) Is there a kind of “hide” function, a kind of archive, so that these old topics from the other blogs were only in a special archiv section and not at the beginning?

    Sorry, if these questions where asked oftenly. I hope to get useful answers from you.

    If http://www.blogigo.de has an exporter that produces an xml file then you could import the contents of it into a wordpress.com blog

    If there is no exporter but the blog has n rss feed you can use this method http://options.wordpress.com/2006/04/09/howto-import-into-wordpresscom-from-another-weblog-using-rss-feed/

    You do not have to place the Archives widget in your sidebar and if you don’t then the problem may be solved.
