High traffic

  Hello, I would like to ask you to enable more traffic / bandwith of users connected from IP 88.212.29.142 . We are using WordPress.com for educational purposes on our school. But now we can’t access wordpress because we have reached max logins from one IP. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  This is not a bandwidth issue. We rate-limit logins/signups from specific IPs to prevent abuse of the system by spambots and the like.

  Can you please let us know the name or your organisation? And is that IP the only one, or does your network have an IP range it uses? Once we have that info we can see if it’s possible to whitelist your IPs so they don’t run into this rate-limiting.

  Name of our organization ( our school ) is Cirkevná spojená škola Vranov nad Topľou, our webpage is: http://www.css-vranov.sk/

  Our public IP is 88.212.29.142, many thanks for service, we are using wordpress on our daily basis as platform for teaching website creatinng on our computer science.

  We’ve whitelisted the IP, so you shouldn’t see any more issues with account creation or logins for your students.
