Hiring A Web Designer

  First time posting here, not sure if this is an acceptable question but I am having a hard time finding a web designer. I have been coming across web design companies being advertised on Google with pretty similar designs, pricing packages, and aggressive communication styles. Are they trustable or I am being scammed?

  Do you mean there is a directory for who is legit and who is a scam? Or just a general directory of web designers?
