Historical Stats not appearing
-
Hello,
I recently moved my wife’s WordPress Blog from http://oureatinghabits.wordpress.com/ to a standalone WordPress.org installation (www.oureatinghabits.com). When I install Jetpack and link the two accounts, I don’t see any of her 1 yr+ stats, just todays. Is there a specific way to export these and import these or should it be automatic? Or, do I just need to wait a day or two?
Thanks,
Clarke.

At this time, we do not have a way to transfer stats from WordPress.com to Jetpack installations.

Thanks for your comment MacManx, but I’m a little confused since it seems other writers have had success bringing over historical stats.
Examples:
– http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-jetpack-by-wordpresscom-stats-module-does-not-import-wpcom-stats-plugin-data, “The stats module definitely should carry over any stats from your previous install, and in most cases (including all of our testing) it does.” -
If you have a self-hosted WordPress.org blog using the WordPress.com Stats Plugin, your stats can be transferred to the Jetpack Plugin, but not if you have a WordPress.com blog.
