Hit Counter Logs My Visits/Can't Comment As Self
-
For some odd reason, my site logs my visits as hits when I go to my main page. Furthermore, when I go to reply to a comment, it says I’m not logged in as myself… and then why I try to log in to comment, it won’t let me. The page just freezes on “authorizing”.
Please note that while all of this is going on, I am still logged in to wordpress.com. Very strange.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How many usernames have you registered here?
How many blogs are registered to those individual usernames?
How many of the blogs have “private” visibility? Note that your visits to a private blog are counted.Private blogs, which can be viewed only by users chosen by the administrator, now track the page views of all of their users. Traditionally we have omitted the views attributed to a blog’s own users because stats were meant to reflect the activity of the general public. However, this meant that private blogs had no useful stats reports. This change will be especially useful for private blogs that have many users. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/08/18/watch-your-traffic-grow-with-sparklines/

Please try some troubleshooting re: your other problems:
How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies
Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.
http://browsehappy.com/Do you have third party cookies enabled? Do you have another browser you can try?
You can use this link to see if your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates can cause problems so check for known issues. When you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
