Hold domain

  Hello,
  Yesterday I registered the ‘littleleftovers.com’ domain. I ended up wanting to host my WordPress site on bluehost instead but I accidentally canceled my domain. Is there a way to move the canceled domain to the bluehost/wordpress site today?

  Hi,

  Not to worry, this can be fixed. You have two options here.

  1. Wait five days for the domain to be officially canceled and released into the pool of available domains.

  or

  2. Repurchase the domain from WordPress.com and then use these instructions to point it to your Bluehost site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  Down the road, you can also explore transferring your domain registration away from WordPress.com and to a new registrar if you wish:

  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
