  How do I remove the ‘Edit’ button from the published page?

  Hi,

  Those without assigned user roles on the site can’t see the “Edit” buttons on your site’s posts and pages. If the site doesn’t have any other users assigned, then only you (and WP staff members) can see them.

  If you do have other users:
  Administrators and Editors can see them. Authors can see them only on their own posts. See the User Roles support page for a summary of user role access and contributing capabilities.
