  I changed themes and did not like what I saw, so when I changed back I lost my home page and following the tutorials do not help as I do not get the ability to set a home page

  Hi there,

  Your home page is not lost. It’s just set to draft.

  Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages, edit that page, and change its status to published, and it will appear again as it should.
