Home page is stuck on 'Under Construction' page
-
I am with a company, Brandlink Communications. We are trying to contact someone in WordPress for help with our site. The domain is http://www.brandlinkcommunications.com .For some reason we are unable to login to the WordPress forum, so I’m posting using another username. We have a customizable account, and were previously working with a web developer.
Problem: Our home page site is on some kind of ‘under construction’ block, where we are unable to customize or delete any of the information. All other pages we have been able to customize through links from google.
Main: When going through WordPress and into the customizer, Home page does not load(nothing is viewable) and no changes can be made when editing(home page).
We have tried deleting all content, plugins, and changing settings. (and redownloading). We originally had a custom theme but have since deleted it, currently the theme we are using is the Twenty Sixteen theme. When viewing all other pages such as, http://www.brandlinkcommunications.com/work our theme is viewable. We have yet to find the underlying problem, please help if you can!
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
When viewing all other pages such as, http://www.brandlinkcommunications.com/work our theme is viewable.
Every page I attempted to visit (“about,” “work,” 2016 post archives) resulted in the following message being displayed:
Maintenance mode
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our website is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance.
Thank you for your understanding. -

Thanks.
At Customize > Static Front Page > Your front page displays a static page > (pages drop-down menu), the page that presently displays in the drop-down menu is the page you are looking for. You may change it to another page by selecting another — create another page if necessary — and then clicking the Save & Publish button. Alternatively, you may find the page and edit it.
Once you have the title of the page, you should be able to quickly find it
among your static pages, at My Sites > Pages, or (in the wp-admin dashboard) at admin panel > Pages > All Pages. -
It’s not a static page, all pages are set to original settings. Is there a way to edit the code for home page on WordPress? Because I think the home page is the problem.

It’s not a static page
Front page and homepage are two words for the same thing. If the homepage is not set to display a static page, then it will display the posts page. Your site doesn’t display the posts page on the homepage, therefore it would appear that it is displaying a static front page.
However, I’ve been wrong before. Maybe it’s a special front page option available on the theme you are using which doesn’t involve a static page. Maybe it can be edited at Customize > Theme Options. I don’t know, haven’t seen this feature yet. I’ll add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
Is there a way to edit the code for home page on WordPress?
Not that I know of.
