home page not showing when set to static page

    Got some free hosting via a friend. He never uploaded WordPress but somehow had a coming soon message on the site. So I uploaded WordPress and transferred my site over. however, his coming soon message is still there. There no maintenance mood plugin installed in the plugins that would show that message. I even set the homepage as a static page and still nothing. When you type in the URL it just shows his message. I’m thinking he did something in the Cpanl to make it show up, but I can’t figure it out. can someone help me out?

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    If you’re speaking of http://www.nootropicsforfocus.com/, try clearing your browser cache. That site loads fine for me.
