Hi there!
It’s not clear from your mobile screenshots what isn’t working for you. Currently, I see your latest posts on your homepage – was this what you wanted to use or did you want to display a separate homepage instead?
Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks!

In my edit tools the home page is editable nor viewable and the top of each page is not viewable in edit so I have an extra contact section that Im blocked from.

Hi @numbasoid , your front page is currently set to just show an index of the latest posts. You have two main options:
1 – You could create a page, publish it, and make that the front page. Here’s how.
2 – You could edit the Index template. Start here; the Index template is already selected, so you can click Edit there. If you have any trouble, you can go back to that, view all templates, and revert changes.
Does that help? Another option, if you’re just not keen on how that particular theme looks, is to go ahead and switch to something else. We have several options here. I’d recommend choosing the one that’s closest to what you want, switching, then editing the design if needed.
Let us know if you need more help!

You can edit the contact page by going to wordpress.com/pages . Tap the three-dots (“meatball”) menu next to Contact, and choose edit.
If you are trying to edit the template itself, including the menu that links to that page, please use the site editor instead. We have a tutorial on how to use that here.
If you need help, can you let us know what specific part of the page you’re trying to change? You could get a screenshot and add it here.

Those social icons in your screenshot just above are a part of the theme; they are added to the theme’s ‘templates’ of your site. The theme governs the overall appearance of your site – things like the colour scheme and general layout.
In order to make changes to those icons, you will need to use the Site Editor, instead of the page editor. The Site Editor looks very similar to the page editor, but it lets you make changes to the theme templates. The social media icons themselves are inserted using the “Social Icons” block. A summarised process of how to change them:
- Go to Appearance > Editor (beta) – this is the Site Editor. We have a general guide for it here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-editor/ - Once the Site Editor is open, you can edit your template(s). The editing experience is similar to the page/post editor; and I suggest using the “List View” to easily see what blocks are in the template:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/use-list-view/ - On the left side of the template, you should be able to see the column where the Social Icons block is placed. You can click on it to edit it; you can remove the existing social icons, add more, and ensure they are linked to your social media:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/social-icons-block/
When you have made the changes you wish to make, remember to save them. When you next visit your site (as a visitor), you should see the changes there too.
In case it’s useful, we also have some resources to help with learning. For example, you can find this webinar on the difference between the Site Editor and the page/post editor:
