Hi, I’ve recently changed the name of my business on WordPress, and it has deleted my homepage. I have created a new one and whenever I try making this the new homepage, it doesn’t seem to work as everytime I click on home, it just says the page doesn’t exist and has been deleted. Help please!

Most of your pages are set to Private.
They’ll need to be publicly published before they can be set as a home page.
If you’d like to build your site in private, I recommend setting the site itself as private, rather than each individual post/page: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Hello, thanks for your reply, I’ve changed the site to ‘private’, but I’m still not able to view the homepage I’ve designed. I used to be able to preview it (as I can with all the other pages on my designed website) externally.
I’ve set the page I want as my homepage but when I click on ‘home’ externally it just says the page is unavailable: ‘francescaluxuryholidays.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.’
Is there a way I can view the homepage please? Thanks.

I can see the homepage without any issues. However, I noticed that you have an incorrect “Home” link in the menu. Instead of opening https://francescatrainholidays.wordpress.com/ it’s linked to https://francescaluxuryholidays.wordpress.com/ – a deleted site.
Please click My Site → Appearance → Customize → Menus → Primary → click “Home” → Update the URL field to https://francescatrainholidays.wordpress.com → click Save Changes. Here’s a screenshot showing which field needs to be updated.
Once you’ve updated that, you’ll be good to go.
