  I need help arranging my blog posts on my homepage.They appear vertically when i update them!Please help.

  Hi there, you need to go to Customize > Theme Options and set a page for the Featured Page 1. That is why there is a blank on the left of the top row. Also, you cannot set your Blog page as a Featured page (Featured Page 3). It must be a static page, such as your What do you need page is.
