Homepage inquiry

I created a page on my website which I thought would have been the home page and the only page I want on my website. Only to realize that when my website is searched, the first page that appears is a page entitled ‘HOME’ where my posts (which I don’t need right now) are supposed to be.
I went to change the page I created to my home page but I am not able to do so.
Additionally, the page entitled ‘HOME’ does not have the ‘EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR’ button, hence it makes editing almost impossible.
