    trying to connect to hootsuite and its not working

    Hi there,

    After some research, it seems that Hootsuite does not support WordPress.com connections based on what I found here: https://help.hootsuite.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260802305870#use-the-wordpress-app-0-2

    The relevant passage from that page:

    The WordPress.org app connects self-hosted blogs from WordPress.org to Hootsuite. WordPress.org sites must be XML-RPC enabled. Hootsuite does not support publishing to blogs hosted on WordPress.com.

    I’m not sure why that is the case since we are an XML-RPC enabled platform. You may wish to reach out to Hootsuite support to clarify or see if they offer a workaround on their end, but there is nothing we are able to do from this end to help you to connect I’m afraid.
