HootSuite Highjacked my Twitter Link

    HootSuite seems to have highjacked my link for Twitter: http://carolynmappleton.wordpress.com/. When you click on the link on the front page (lower left menu bar), it goes to the HootSuite main page. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Twitter link, which still goes to the HootSuite main page. Which is weird, as I am not really using HootSuite right now. Help would be very welcome. No other links seem to be having this problem.

    Do you mean the links under “CAROLYN ON TWITTER”?

    If so, they all appear to be working find for me, they’re all going to Twitter.

    I think something in your browser may be hijacking it instead.

    First, make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://www.whatbrowser.org/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these three things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

    3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
