Horrible, horrible email notifications

  I keep getting email notifications for Anonymous spam comments. I can’t make it stop, even though I even went so far as to uncheck the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” box. So, basically, I have a blog that doesn’t allow comments at all, yet somehow, anonymous spam comments continue to fill up my email inbox. What can I do to make it stop?

  Just to eliminate the obvious, you have multiple WordPress.com blogs, are you sure that you have disabled comments on the correct one?
