  Hello! I was hoping you can clarify – can you share if our account is active right now from a hosting standpoint? We thought we did not renew it, but we can do updates and it’s live. If so, when does the service expire? If we were to renew, how much does it cost? Our domain is on GoDaddy currently. (TY – not that savvy so hoping this makes sense.)

  Hi there, https://thegigconversation.wordpress.com/ is currently hosted here under our free plan, which is free for life.

  The site used to have a paid Premium plan with the mapped domain thegigconversation.com but that expired August 2, 2020, when it wasn’t renewed.

  You can purchase a new plan for the site if you’d like from https://wordpress.com/plans

  As for the domain, which is registered with GoDaddy, we have two options:

  Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Both would require a paid plan, any paid plan.
