Hosting a new WordPress site on Cpanel using my own Domain Name.

    I’m thinking about using WordPress to produce a new website.
    I have my own registered domain and my current web site is hosted on CPanel.
    Can I produce the new Web Site using WordPress and host it on CPanel, or do I have to redirect my Domain to WordPress and WordPress host it?

    It sounds like you are going to build a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with another webhost.

    We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

    Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.
