Hosting and domain issue

    Hi,
I have domain (ofriraban.com) and hosting in godaddy. I’m trying to use the hosting for wordpress theme. I set the domain name, and installed the wordpress app but when I log in the wordpress I can’t see the theme I installed on hosting.
In addition, if I type the domain directly it’s redirect me to wordpress, but if I’m trying to log as admin (ofriraban.com/wp-admin) the domain become the regular wordpress domain (http://ofrielharar.wordpress.com/wp-admin/).

    Am I missing something?

your prompt advise will be highly appreciated

    Hi there,

Right now, your domain ofriraban.com is set up to point to your site hosted here at WordPress.com. When you use a custom domain with a WordPress.com site, visitors to your site only see that custom domain.

You will continue to see the free WordPress.com address (ofrielharar.wordpress.com) when you visit your site’s dashboard. That’s an internal address that only you will see. We use that to make sure that nothing ever happens to your site’s contents, even if you stop using your custom domain.

However, that’s only for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. If you have website hosting with GoDaddy, you will need to install the free WordPress software from WordPress.org there. In that case, you do not need to have a site or domain upgrade here at WordPress.com. You can contact GoDaddy for more information about how to use your domain with your GoDaddy site.

You can also get help with setting up a self-hosted WordPress site (not using WordPress.com) on the WordPress.org support site here:

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
