Hosting existing site on WordPress.com?

  Hello, I have an existing site hosted elsewhere that due to family health issues I have not added content to in almost 1.5 yrs. I have no idea if/when I will have time again but would like to see if options exist to keep the site up, for historical or future reasons. Please let me know what is the procedure, should one exist, to transfer a site hosted outside of WordPress.com to inside.
  Hope this query made sense and I appreciate any help or direction.
