  Hi,
  I have the same requirement. To migrate from Siteground to wp.com, and transfer my domain too.

  I followed the link above but couldn’t find the said migration tool. https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/migrating-followers-site-stats-from-wordpress-com-to-wordpress-org/

  Glad to see this thread has been useful.

  In order to migrate a site from another provide to WordPress, the site would need to be on the business plan to cater for any third party themes and plugins.

  For the personal plan, you can export the content from the site at Siteground via Tools > Export and then import via these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Hi!
  Thanks very much for the help. I’ve followed the steps in your link and now waiting for the transfer to be completed. The note says it’ll take 7 days.

  Question:
  I’ve purchased the Personal plan, so now I got another website at melindayeoh.com.wordpress.com. Do I delete this later when my melindayeoh.com is successfully transferred?
