Hosting through GoDaddy

    I am trying to host my website through GoDaddy but am unable to download the correct xml file to be able to do this. Please help!

    Hi there,

    If you’re speaking of http://payalarora.com/, you can export your content on that site from My Site ->Tools ->Export.

    That is not a complete download of your site, so you can’t just upload that directly to your server at GoDaddy. That file is just an export of your site content, and is intended to be imported to an existing site somewhere else.

    So first you’ll need to install the WordPress software on GoDaddy’s end, or create a new site using their own website builder, then use the import tools on that end to upload the file.

    Please contact GoDaddy support directly for help with the import process itself.
