Hostname cannnot be added to this blog.—->HELP
-
I own a domain and I am having trouble mapping it to my wordpress blog.
Each time I attempt to add the host name I get the message “hostname cannot be added to this blog”.
I know I did something wrong and I am not sure what.Yahoo is hosting the domain and I’ve already changed the DNS.
I’ve also forward the domain name so that it redirects to the wordpress blog.
Please help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you following these instructions exactly?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
Generally you point the name-servers to WordPress.COM then you map the domain to your existing blog – keep in mind it can take 24 to 72 hours for all the changes to migrate across the internet (usually changes start sooner)
Track the progress: http://www.whatsmydns.net/
For more help we need both the blog at WordPress.COM you want to map to and the domain name you are mapping.

This issue is detailed.
My domain mapping expired for (buildingbrandyou.wordpress.com) and I inadvertently created a new blog (buildbrandyou.wordpress.com) and mapped my domain (www.buildbrandyou) to the new and empty blog (buildbrandyou.wordpress.com).In an attempt to rectify my error I deleted the domain and tried to add it to my original blog (buildingbrandyou.wordpress.com). Now it seems that every host name I enter I get that same error message “that hostname cannot be added to this blog.”
So yes I am following the instructions. Have I rendered my blogs useless by allowing the domain mapping to expire and by deleting the mapped domain?
Thanks for your help.
