How can I access an old blog?

  How do I access an old blog that I no longer have the email address or password for? My current blog is called hickbabe2. I started just plain hickbabe years ago to document my farming experiences, and I’d like to use the “hickbabe” domain for my own website, but I can’t access my old blog. How can I do this?

  In order to help you get access to your blog Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:

  1. an email from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was
  2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here.
  3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction number

  Do you have any of those?

  Yes, I have the old email address. It’s “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” but it’s shut down now. I don’t have any of the other things. How do I get in touch with a Staff member? And thank you for your help.
