    Howdy –

    It sounds like you want to add some categories in to the sidebar of the site. Is that right? Look here .

    Once you add a new category topic to one of your posts, that category will get pulled in to that existing widget.

    1. Write a new post
    2. Add tags
    3. Add a new category topic (trees, for example)
    4. Publish the post
    5. Check the site, look at widget, find trees listed in the drop down
