How can I amend my cancellation and refund on a domain?

I need to cancel my domain. I canceled it within 48 hours of purchasing and I see that its still active.
I purchased mtneylon.com, and I canceled the domain within 48 hours. You can double check the purchase time stamps of that domain and the second domain I purchased matthewtneylon.com. I canceled the former domain because I misspelled and had intended to purchase the latter. However, I see that it never canceled nor refunded. It has now been six days.
I believe there was an error when I selected to cancel and refund.
Could you please assist me in refunding the nominal $18.00 for the domain? I don’t need both of them.

Correct. I just checked my email inbox, found an email in my promotional tab and had to confirm the cancellation.

Yes, you would have needed to complete that step for the cancellation to be completed.
