How can I clear the CSS to fix two layout problems?

  I’d like to clear the CSS to be what the original theme settings are. Unfortunately, when I follow the instructions for clearing the CSS, the issues I am seeing are still there. Basically, I am trying to fix two problems:

  * My entire site (posts, categories, Menus, etc) are in italics. I’ve check that all tags are closed, I’ve deleted my first – and only post – and reposted, I’ve selected the suggested settings in the Settings>Writing tab, but nothing seems to work. I just want the copy to have normal style, and I can add bold, italics, etc where I want in the actual posts.

  * The padding between paragraphs is huge. I’m trying to get it to a normal single space look.

  Have you tried clearing your browser’s cookies and cache?
