How can I create a new home page for A/B testing?

    Hi there,

    I want to use the Google Analytics “Experiment” feature and test a new version of my WordPress Homepage against the current version. For the new version, I need a separate URL that a subset of visitors will be re-directed to…is it possible to create a new homepage (with a separate URL) using WordPress (while still using the main magiccarpetym.com domain name). I createdmagiccarpetym.com/test for this purpose, but am getting an error when I upload it into the “Experiment” wizard.

    I don’t think we need to make a new website, just a new homepage page. Then from there, Google Analytics does the rest. Here’s where they explain it all: https://www.google.com/analytics/web/?hl=en#report/siteopt-experiments/a44405194w74767622p77181636/

    I’ve asked my web designer and some IT friends, and no one seems to know how to make this separate page. I was provided this link, but I’m not sure how to use it to achieve what I need:

    WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics. So I suspect that what you want to do will not be possible on a WordPress.com site.
