How can I create a slideshow?

Have not be able to create a slideshow or mosaic when adding media to posts. I can post straight photos but that is it. What is the problem?

Is WordPress having problems with the slideshow/mosaic option for posting photos? I love these options and have not be able to use them recently. I get everything set, but when I go to view the slideshow, the photos are not in slideshow format. I can post straight photos, but that is it. Thank you!

Note when you have any issue telling us you cannot do it is not providing enough information for us to help you. We need details such as which which step trips you up and or what any error message you receive states.

Can you provide a URL to a post or page you have set up properly to display a slideshow but is not displaying one please? I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

@pattyperkins- On my test site using Elegant Grunge, I was able to insert a slideshow without problem using the Create Gallery link in the upper left corner of the Media Manager after clicking the “Add Media” button from the Post Editor.
What may be confusing following the changes to how images are previewed in the Post Editor is that the “Slideshow” appears in the Post Editor box with all the images laid out like they were a regular thumbnail Gallery. However, when previewing or publishing your post, you should see the Slideshow format there.
