How can I default to the old posting experience?

    I do NOT want the “improved posting experience”. How can I default to the posting experience I have used for the past many years? Now I have to go to Dashboard and Add a Post. Please allow users to select the default for their page to create a post. Also, I do not like the new Stats page. I keep filling in the survey boxes as to why and this has been going on for months now. Please allow users to default to the old stats page if that is their preference.

    Thank you, when changes are made, allowing a default to the former way would be appreciated.

    Also, if you can share specific things that don’t work well for you in the new editor, I’d be happy to share that feedback with our team! There currently aren’t plans to add a default settings where you can choose to default to the classic editor, so I can’t promise that will ever be an option at WordPress.com. Given that, any feedback you can give about the new editor will help our team continue to make improvements there.

    We appreciate your feedback from filling in the Stats survey, as well. Although we can’t make the changes that everyone requests there, our team considers all of the feedback we receive.
