How can I display a comment textbox after each post?
-
I know this question has been posed before. I would like my site to display a comment textbox at the bottom of the posts. I am using the TwentyTwenty theme and, while I have enabled comments from unregistered users in my Discussion settings, all I see is a callout symbol underneath the title, displaying no comments or the number of comments. If I click on this symbol, the comment textbox opens up, but this can be easily overlooked and is far from intuitive. Therefore, I would like always to display the comment textbox or, at least a comments symbol, at the bottom of the message, rather than under the title.

Hello again, So looking at your site, it is using the open source WP software rather than being hosted here on the WordPress.com platform.
For help with your site, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of the WordPressdotcom platform. WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Best wishes

By the way, I noticed that I can only reach your sites when connected through my Vodafone card. When I’m on our wifi, from a local service provider, I see the message on Firefox: hmm, we have trouble reaching this site. I have noticed this behaviour before and I suspect that some server may be blacklisting some of your sites.

Hi there,
Thank you for the heads up. We are aware of the Vodafone UK issues that users are having and have been in contact with them about a solution and will update you if we indeed come to one.
Thanks again!

Not quite, really. Here in Italy it’s the other way round. It’s our local provider not reaching your server, through the Fastweb service. In order to reply here, I had to disconnect from my wifi and reconnect through my phone card from Vodafone.

Interesting. Thanks for the clarification. I will definitely report this internally to make sure that we’re aware of this as well.
