How can I edit the nameserver?
-
I attempted to follow the steps listed on the page titled “Domain Management” (http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#domain-manager-login) but the instructions seem to be out-of-date. When I go to my Domain settings tab, there is no “Domain Administration” option, so I’m stuck at step one. What I’m attempting to do, and have been for some time, is transfer my service from WordPress to HostGator. They have sent my nameservers to point to, but I can’t edit my nameservers on WordPress!
Currently my DNS settings are coming from Google Apps, and I have no trouble authenticating them. But It seems the option to adjust nameservers on WordPress is gone.

http://jacobshavlik.net/ is now properly directing to Hostgator.
When a new domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
