How can I export my site when Export is not working for me?

    I would like to move my WordPress.com site to another host.
    Firstly, the technician at the other host tells me the Export functionality is not working and he cannot ‘export’ the site.
    Secondly, how do I get all the files I have uploaded to the site? jpg’s pdf’s, etc.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If you’d like to move your site from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress.org site with another host, we have a guide for doing that here: Moving a Blog

    You can create an export of your WordPress.com blog by following these instructions: Export

    As long as your WordPress.com site is still live, you can use the export file from your WordPress.com and import it into your self-hosted WordPress.org site with your files and images.
