how can i get back the canceled name of my site?

  I deleted my blogs name, but I want to use the old name now. it is very important for me and i don’t want to change my blogs homepage – only the name!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you mean your existing site’s Title, you can change it under Dashboard>Settings>General>Site Title and save your settings.

  If you mean another WordPress.com site that you deleted, that cannot be recovered.

  oh that’s really shit :( so the only option is to upgrade and use the not free name (it’s than without the “wordpress” and than it’s possible to use) and pay… right?

  There’s 3 warnings along the site deletion process telling you that you won’t be able to recover the URL once the site is deleted.

  Yes, you can buy a domain and connect it via the mapping upgrade, in fact if you are going to run a professional website, I recommend this from the start. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-a-domain/ Make sure you note the “Same Rules Apply” as your site is still hosted on WordPress.com regardless of having a custom domain.
