How can I get Jetpack to properly activate?

Hello. I’ve been looking online for a fix for the longest time, and I have not found one. I have the most recent version of Jetpack installed onto my blog, which is running the most recent version of WordPress. When I go to activate Jetpack, I get this following error message:
Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: xml_rpc-32700
Try connecting again. Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://kevo.dasaku.net/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.I am quite familiar with the usual “solutions” to this problem, which I why I am filling out this form. The URL http://kevo.dasaku.net/xmlrpc.php shows the proper message “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.” with no additional lines or characters. I have no caching plugin installed or activated. I have tried switching my theme to TwentyTwelve and disabling all my plugins, to no avail. Other bloggers on the domain I’m hosted on (dasaku.net) have no had any issues getting Jetpack to work. Please help, I’ve been missing out on the wonders of Jetpack for months now!

Those should work just fine. Just to clarify something, were you ever connected to Jetpack before through that blog?

I’m getting a parse error when attempting to access your xmlrpc.php file as Jetpack.
Are you hosted with GoDaddy?
Also, are you sure that you tried with all other plugins disabled? And, did you mean that you tried with Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve? If Twenty Twelve, please try with Twenty Eleven instead.

Yes, I am hosted with GoDaddy. Is there something in particular I should do if I am?

Ok, there is a known issue with GoDaddy. It’s not something that we can fix on this end, and it needs to be corrected on GoDaddy’s end.
I recommend contacting them about this.

The person who runs my domain just got back to me. I am apparently mistaken: I am hosted on Dreamhost, not GoDaddy. Also, his WordPress blog (on the same domain) runs Jetpack fine.

Hm, that’s odd. Are you both under the same hosting account, or just the same domain? (subdomains can be redirected elsewhere)
