How can I get my custom domain to show up on the Web?
-
My custom domain is not showing up on the Web. The domain validator says it’s not mapped to WordPress.com, but the my domains page says it is.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=gbb.coop
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMFor more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi, rootjosh.
I should have realized the name servers would be case specific. I had set them correctly, but using lowercase letters. I guess this will do the trick.
Thanks for your help.

Let me know if it starts working.
However, I am still not seeing the whois data as pointing to us yet:
-
Nope, still not working. That’s very odd because my domain management screen says that the A, NS, and CNAME records are being handled by WordPress.com. The CNAME record has an asterisk in front of “gbb.coop” and it is grayed out. I assume that is significant, but what does it mean and what do I do about it?
Continued thanks,

You might try talking to your registrar’s support team. Sadly, there isn’t much we can do from here with domains that aren’t registered with us.
