How can I get my website back

So here is my problem, a few months ago I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate and went through their training and website building using WordPress. That is the system they have you use. I built my website and even registered a domain and had it all online. I decided to quit Wealthy Affiliate and since they were hosting my site (Big mistake!) my site went down with it. After sorting things out I am trying to retrieve it back and am not finding where it will be. I have tried the whole YOURDOMAIN.COM/Wp-admin and it comes up with “cannot find the server.” How can I get my website back? What do I need to do? Thank you!

  • I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, your former site is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/
