How can I get the Featured Post on the SoundCheck Theme to work?

  My blog, ThisCityofTakers.wordpress.com, utilizes the SoundCheck Theme. I am using the Featured Post widget in Home Column 2; however, it is not posting the Featured Blog Post. I have it set to show by category, “blog”. It also asked for the post id, which I am guessing is the date? such as 1212013 if the date was January 21, 2013? I need help with this thanks.

  In this case, I recommend contacting the developer directly for help: http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/soundcheck

  For future reference, there will be a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but the theme needs to be active and you need to be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.
