How can I have a different header for each page?

My theme is “Adventure Journal.” I’d like to have the home page look the way it currently does but have the header be different (or non-existent) on the other pages. As it currently is, you can’t really even tell you are on a different page because the header remains the same no matter which page you are on. If I could remove the title and change the picture for each page’s header or simply remove the header it would help to differentiate each page while the user is navigating. I would be willing to consider another theme if that would help. Thanks!

  • Hi there – You can get per-page header images with Adventure Journal (and many other themes), by adding a featured image to your pages. You can read more right here about how to add a featured image to a page.

Once you’ve uploaded a featured image on a specific page, that image will be displayed as the header on that same page. Just be sure the featured image size is 920 by 360 pixels so it fits the space – smaller images won’t be displayed, and larger ones will be cropped.

Let me know if you need any help!
