How can I have more likes than views on a page (both in one day)?
-
Hi – Yesterday I posted http://thnxpinterest.com/2012/05/23/step-by-step-preparing-kale/
I hoped it would be a popular post because I had a few requests for it, I was really happy when I saw in my e-mail that I had 12 likes on the post (the most I have had to date) but then was shocked (and disappointed) when I loged onto my dashboard and only saw 5 views yesterday…how is this possible that I would have received more likes than views in 1 day?
My conclusion is that something is wrong with my stats, I realize my site is small but i’m in the process of building by brand and my blog and i’m very analitical so I’m hoping that you can provide some insight.
Thnx!

Folks can actually Like your posts from the WordPress.com Reader. This does not count as a view in your stats.
I took a look at your stats, and this appears to be the case for that post.

Yes, the Reader is a third-party source of traffic. It doesn’t actually visit your blog, it just pulls in new posts from your blog along with others, so it doesn’t count as a visit.
