There really isn’t anything such as a “wordpress.ORG site since wordpress.ORG is not a hosting service. Do you mean wordpress.COM site?

Smells a bit like duplicate content –

  • Unknown's avatar

Yeah, once I got confirmation on what they were talking about I was going to mention that.

Yes is that is what I meant. Do you know a way to do it? It is okay to duplicate content in order to reach different audiances. Thats why there is more then one newspaper stand in a city eh.

It is a bad idea to duplicate content on the web. Search engines dislike duplicate content and when they see it, they thing splogger (spam blogger) and will immediately toss both blogs into a deep dark search engine hole and your seach engine ranking will drop like a stone.

Duplicate content = really, really, really bad idea.

On the blog here, just make a short post with perhaps a short excerpt from the main blog with a link to the post on that blog. Search engines won’t whack you for that.

There is no way to auto post to multiple blogs, and even if there were, wordpress.COM would not support it since as I said, that is a favorite tool of spam bloggers.

Okay. Thanks for giving me a little insight on the blogging world. I suppose you cannot have the power of hosting your own site and the networking wordpress.com provides at the same time.

Nope. The SEO power of this site is strictly for the blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM.
