How can I map my domain without using the dashboard?
-
I tried linking my site to my own domain, and the site is now coming up as 404 error and I can’t access my dashboard, because my dashboard is also directed to my domain.
I checked the resources, and it recommended domain mapping, but it requires dashboard access.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not a WordPress.com blog and we cannot help you with that.
http://shopbubblegum.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com blog. Is that the blog you’re asking about?

No. In fact, I deleted that a long time ago, I thought. The domain I tried to attach the site to is bubblegumsenpai.net. The URL in the post is the “temporary domain” I was given while my site was online and had not yet mapped it to a domain. I contacted my hosting service (godaddy), and there was nothing wrong on their end.

You want to link a domain name to a Godaddy blog, yes? Where did you register the domain name? Here? If so, follow these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

I purchased the domain from google, which registered it with Godaddy. I also have a domain with Godaddy that I can use, using their wordpress plan. I don’t know if that is considered as being “registered with wordpress.”
