  Hi @missybraniacj , and welcome! I see you’ve picked a theme for a static website (one you set up and leave alone, more or less). Did you want that or do you want to add new articles regularly, like you would with a news site or blog?

  We’ve got some tips for getting started here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/start/

  Choose blog if you’ll be updating regularly, or website for a site that will stay more or less the same. Then follow those steps. If you need help, let us know. Cheers!
