How can I recuperate my original username after switching

  Why on earth would a username be locked after switching to another one by mistake.

  Any solution on getting my username back ?

  Switched from mgartenhaus,wordpress.com to toncabanon.wordpress.com by mistake…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m sorry but there’s the relevant support doc entry:

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  There does not have to be any explanation for any policy. It is assumed that we read the policies before we act. I’m sorry but this is a dead end issue. Your option is to chnage the display name and that’s it.
