    How can I remove my primary domain (katherinebilsborough.wordpress) and make the new domain I just purchased (ELTstraighttalk.com) my primary domain? I only want ONE domain for now – the one I have bought.

    Katherine,
    Your domain eltstraighttalk.com is already your primary domain. Any visitors to your site will see that domain and only that domain.

    When you are working on the Dashboard (only for contributors/administrators of the site), you will see your WordPress.com address. This is an intentional design, as it ensures if there is any lapse in your domain, your site and content will remain accessible so you can recover said domain.

    There is no way to move the Dashboard away from the WordPress.com address, but I assure you it is not being used for visitors to your site.
