How can I remove the "http:///www" in my redirect url?
-
Hi, I am trying to use a custom domain (www.necarnenepesce.net) for my wordpress blog (necarnenepesceblog.wordpress.com).
Unfortunately, when writing down the domain name, I wrote the “http://www.”, too, and I think this is the reason why the redirect doesn’t work (everything else is working.)
How can I remove the “http://www.” from the domain name, in the “My domains” section?
Thanks,Francesca

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, you want to use necarnenepesce.net with your WordPress.com site necarnenepesceblog.wordpress.com? You are not trying to redirect visitors from necarnenepesceblog.wordpress.com to another site with the URL necarnenepesce.net?

Hi rootjosh, I want to use necarnenepesce.net with my WordPress.com site necarnenepesceblog.wordpress.com.
Any advice?
Thank you. -
I’ve got that set up.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
Also, do let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
