How can I remove the WordPress logo that's in front of my domain name?
-
How can I get the WordPress logo from showing in front of my domain name? For instance when I share a page on social media the WordPress logo is there. Instead I’d like to choose for example my own pictures to show there.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, you can add your own image under Settings > General:
https://jennirex.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
Upload your own graphic at the top right, where it says “Blog Picture / Icon” – as seen in this screenshot:

The image you choose will now display in the browser’s address bar, as well as in a few other places.
Just let me know if you need further help!

Hi,
Thanks for the fast reply!I changed the blog picture/icon according to your instructions but somehow the WordPress logo is still visible in the browser.
However the blogpicture can be seen in the header. I would like it to appear in the browser’s address bar though. Perhaps I did something wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there! It can take a little while for your new favicon to appear in the address bar because of our caching system, as explained on our support page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/
If it doesn’t appear on its own within a day, you can try clearing your browser’s cache manually.
Just let me know if you aren’t able to get it sorted out – thanks!
